The Hobbs Family Ancestors and Descendants of William and Ann Owen Hobbs Last Updated: 13 March 2010 Children of William and Ann Owen Hobbs: Henry, James, Caroline (Kitty), William, Charles In the 1850s, the Hobbs family, of Cheltenham, England, joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Son Henry, his wife, James, and his future wife became handcart pioneers, and the rest of the Hobbses, including mother Ann, followed in covered wagons. All lived at various times in Franklin, Idaho.
